Here I am on this cold November morning with an update to my Mythothon book challenge, which is was created by FoxesFairytale. (For some reason my phone won’t let me make this a link but you can find a link in my previous posts)
Its been going much better than I thought it would and must say that is because there has been a couple of books that I haven’t been able to put down. The one that I have loved the most this month is Sympathy by Olivia Sudgic
So here it is my updated Mythothon.
Hermes – State of Passion by Nihad Sirees – It is set in Syria.
This book is the second book that I bought with reading in heels. A book subscription box that you can buy monthly. Its really great you get a fee treats and surprises each month I can most certainly recommend it to any book lovers out there.
Hades – Me After You – by Jojo Moyes
I loved Me Before You and when I saw the sequal, that I have yet to read in my local library. I couldn’t stop myself, going to have to read this one sooner than later or I will have to get it back out again.
Hebe – Brer Rabbit Collection – By Enid Blyton.
The middle grade book I am planning on reading could actually fit into a few categories as it was bought for me by my sister, its full of short stories and a few others. Yet I chose to resd it for this prompt after moving things around a bit.
Poseidon – The Pirates Daughter – Margaret Cezair Thompson
I figured that this at has to have something to do with pirates and considering I can’t remember when or why I bought this I may as well give it a go and see how far I get with it. Although exactly what it has to do with pirates if anything I am not sure.
Gaea – The Fault in Our Stars – by John Green
I can’t believe that I have not read this yet. I bought it a few years ago and its been on my TBR since but I haven’t picked it up yet. But it is most certainly going to make it to the top of my Mythothon TBR.
Echidna – Eragon –
I have wanted to read this for along time and never got around to it so hoping that assigning it to this prompt may actually make me read it. Normally I don’t read stuff about dragons but at the same time this book looks to be a really good read.
Herakles – Hush Hush
This book has been a popular favourite amoungst book tubers and somehow seems to have slipped my TBR until now so I can’t wait to get my teeth into this one, metaphorically of course.
Apollo – Grimms Fairytales – by Wilhelm and Jacob Grimm
book for this changed because I couldn’t find the original book I was going to read so I hsd to swap a few books around. Looking forwards to reading this. Its been so long since I read a good book of fairyrales, sure I have read this book before but still really looking forwards to it.
Well this should keep me going for a while and if I finish these books then I can cross that bridge when I get to it. I will admit I have been procrastinating as far as books go and not really reading anything that can come under any of the prompts. But that stops now I am going to make sure of it. I am getting back in the game and this procrastination stops now. Now I have a question that I would like to ask you guys, of you are still reading that id. I am struggling to actually think of a book that has a disabled character in it. Can anyone help me out?
