ULTIMATE BOOK TAG

Day Eight, not that is something I didn’t think that I would be saying, especially not so early in the game. I was thinking that I was going to have to back date blogs by now, but we are still rocking and still writing and still blogging. Wow I am impressed with myself.
Another Book Tag, no idea who created this tag but credit goes to whoever did.

1. Do you get sick while reading in the car?
Yes – But I get travel sick whether or not I am reading.

2. Which author’s writing style is completely unique to you and why?
Ransom Riggs, mainly because he almost incorporates real life into his work through the use of real photos that he has himself collected.

3. Harry Potter Series or the Twilight Saga? Give 3 points to defend your answer.
Harry Potter, and do I really have to do this? Okay my three reasons are Sirius Black, Luna Lovegood and Bellatrix Lestrange – *Drop Mic*

4. Do you carry a book bag? If so, what is it in (besides books…)?
No, but I always carry a bag with me and that bag always has a book, my phone, my purse, my house keys and usually some kind of lip balm

5. Do you smell your books?
Yes, but everyone does that, right?

6. Books with or without little illustrations?
I think it depends. If I am reading a horror or ghost story then I would rather there wasn’t but in fantasy and contemporary it is nice.

7. What book did you love while reading but discovered later it wasn’t quality writing? (Ex. I read Twilight before I read HP and thought the writing was amazing but read HP and now think Twilight is a little bit of a joke.)
The Famous Five Series – After reading Agatha Christie books and some adult mysteries I just think what the hell was I doing reading those books.

8. Do you have any funny stories involving books from your childhood? Please share!
I always used to read ahead in class and get told off for it all the time, everyone used to have to take it in turn to read aloud and most of my classmates read so slowly it was unbearable so I would read a head and when it came to my turn I would get told off because I was too far ahead.

Another one involves a Cinderella Laybird Edition book I had when i was about 5, my grandma would read it to me every single night because I refused to sleep until she did and I came to know the book off by heart, she would sometimes try and miss bits out to get it finished quicker but when she did I used to stop her and make her start from the begining again.

9. What is the thinnest book on your shelf?
Map of Days Sampler – Ransom Riggs

10. What is the thickest book on your shelf?
The Entire Shakespeare Collection – I think. Don’t quote me on that.

11. Do you write as well as read? Do you see yourself in the future as being an author?
Yes I do write and I would love to be but I never actually finish anything.

12. When did you get into reading?
I can never remember not being into reading. I think I was born being into reading.

13. What is your favorite classic book?
Wow! This is a hard one. I am going to have to say either Alice in Wonderland/Through the Looking Glass or Oliver twist.

14. In school was your best subject Language Arts/English?
Yes it was, got myself and A’Level in it grade B

15. If you were given a book as a present that you had read before and hated…what would you do?
pretend that I had read it and just say it wasn’t my cup of tea and give the book to a charity shop. ( I have so done that before)

16. What is a lesser known series that you know of that is similar to Harry Potter or the Hunger Games?
I literally have no idea, I feel that it doesn’t really have much of answer, at least not from what I have read.

17. What is a bad habit you always do (besides rambling) while blogging?
I write really quickly and make stupid mistakes and don’t notice them until weeks later and then can’t be bothered to change them.

18. What is your favorite word?
Supercalifragilsticexpialidocious

19. Are you a nerd, dork, or dweeb? Or all of the above?
A huge Nerd

20. Vampires or Fairies? Why?
If I had to choose the Fairies – just because vampires are boring at least I find them to be.

21. Shapeshifters or Angels? Why?
Shapeshifters because they are so much more interesting and you can do so much more with them and shapeshifters could just shape shift into angels so that clears that one up

22. Spirits or Werewolves? Why?
Werewolves – because I fully believe that I am a Werewolf. I was born on a Full Moon, I usually get my time of the month on a full moon and therefore feel ill on a full moon and stay curled up in bed wanting to kill everything and everyone around me.

23. Zombies or Vampires?
Zombies – I have recently really started loving Zombies, plus Vampires Suck.

24. Love Triangle or Forbidden Love
Forbidden Love, I HATE love triangles

25. AND FINALLY: Full on romance books or action-packed with a few love scenes mixed in?
Action! Every time.

Thanks for reading.

See you tomorrow.
