A- Z Survey

I think this is going to be a good tag to get my teeth into. I love doing book tag so if you know of any then send them my way I will get around to doing them. Day nine and my third book tag. I think I am going to stop doing them for a couple of days and simply try my hand at other things, I do have a few ideas written down, but would love to hear some of yours. Are you taking part in Blogtober too? Send me a link to your posts.

Author you’ve read the most books from:

Probably either Enid Blyton or Jojo Moyes – It depends if you count bin up of books as one book or multiple books. if you do then Enid Blyton if not the Jojo Moyes

Best Sequel Ever:

Hollow City -I love the Miss Peregrine Series so much and could read them over and over again and never get bored.

Currently Reading:

At the time of writing this blog post I am currently reading Northern Lights by Phillip Pullman (Writing this a few days in advance on 28th September) but by the time this goes up probably Eldest by Chistopher Paollini.

Drink of Choice While Reading:

I generally don’t eat or drink when reading, but I do sometimes drink either tea or just a glass of water.

E-reader or Physical Book?

Physical Book – I have nothing against E- Readers but they just don’t work for me. I love having a physical book in my hands that I can hold and feel, does that sounds weird?

Fictional Character You Probably Would Have Actually Dated In High School:

I would like to say Fred Weasley as I love the Weasley’s to bits but Fred is my favourite but in reality probably someone like Jacob Portman from the Miss Peregrine Series, most likely the weird kid in any book is who I would date.

Glad You Gave This Book A Chance:

Eliza and her Monsters, I can honestly say I didn’t think I would enjoy it as much as I did. Within about ten pages I was hooked and it has become one of my all time favourite books ever, not just of the year.

Hidden Gem Book:

The Guardians of Time Trilogy by Marianne Curley. I love those books but nobody seems to know of their existence except me.

Important Moment in your Reading Life:

Learning to read. Next Question

Just Finished:

Jabberwocky _ Lewis Carroll

Kinds of Books You Won’t Read:

Usually I don’t read Science Fiction

Longest Book You’ve Read:

Overall I am not sure but the longest book i have read so far this year is Beauty and the Beast and other Classic Fairytales (which is 738 pages long)

Major book hangover because of:

Land of Stories The Wishing Spell by Chris Colfer – Stayed up all night reading that book

Number of Bookcases You Own:

Currently I own four, but ordered a new one so soon it is going to be five. And still not enough room for all my books.

One Book You Have Read Multiple Times:

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban -First HP book that came to my head.

Preferred Place To Read:

In my bed!

Quote that inspires you/gives you all the feels from a book you’ve read:

Now this is a hard one I am just going to go with a quote I love because it remeinds me of the book and that is a quote from Eliza and Her Monsters (are we surprised? Didn’t think so) and that is ‘There Are Monsters In the Sea’

Reading Regret:

I regret not finishing The Hunchback of Notre Dame – It was just so much hard work and I couldn’t put myself through it any longer. I was literally about to die if I read anymore. It was so boring it was putting me to sleep just thinking about picking it up.

Series You Started And Need To Finish(all books are out in series):

The Mortal Instruments – I read the first four and then couldn’t get my hands on the fifth for ages and when I did I never got around to reading it. So going to re read the others first at some point. It just seems like a lot of work.

Three of your All-Time Favorite Books:

Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, Eliza and Her Monsters and The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle.

Unapologetic Fangirl For:

Anything by Ransom Riggs. Love him so much.

Very Excited For This Release More Than All The Others:

The New Miss peregrine book, really can’t remember the name but it is something like A Convenience of Birds, it comes out in January 14th Next year and I just can’t wait.

Worst Bookish Habit:

If I love a book I usually end up buying both the paper back and the hardback. Also I tend to buy an entire series read the first and second books and then decide I dont want to read the rest.

X Marks The Spot: Start at the top left of your shelf and pick the 27th book:

Currently sat at the library and I have no idea which one but I know that it is one of my Charles Dicken books, maybe Oliver Twist or Little Dorrit, but not sure.

Your latest book purchase:

Confessions of a Shopaholic Book Series, not sure why I watched the film for the first time in ages and decided to try and give the books a try because I love the film

ZZZ-snatcher book (last book that kept you up WAY late):

All the land of Stories books – I couldn’t put them down and had to carry on reading.

That is all for today. I tag everyone reading this as usual.

See you tomorrow.
