Pumpkin Spiced Tea and Pumpkin Spiced Salad

Struggling to figure out what to do with your nicely carved pumpkin, other than putting a candle inside and trying to freak out the neighbours by placing it into your window and letting it peer out at the people passing by?
Bored of the usual pumpkin juice and pumpkin soup? How about trying these one for size, two things that Have become a great favourite of mine.

Pumpkin Seed Salad:
This one is really easy to complete and takes just a few minutes.
Step One: Scoop up the seeds and toss them into a frying pan, on a medium heat and simply toast the for a few minutes, stirring every so often.
Step Two: Whilst the pumpkin seeds are cooling down put together your favourite salad and then toss in the pumpkin seeds for an extra crunch
Step Three: Enjoy you Pumpkin Seed Salad.

Pumpkin Spice Tea

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups milk (dairy, almond, coconut etc.)
1 pumpkin spice tea bag
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 – 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup (to taste)
dash of pumpkin spice, ground cinnamon,

Heat milk until steaming (not boiling) in the microwave or in a saucepan on the stove top.
Pour steaming milk over pumpkin spice tea bag in mug and steep 5-7 minutes.
Squeeze tea bag well and discard.
Stir in vanilla and maple syrup.
Lightly dust with pumpkin spice, ground cinnamon
Serve hot.

Great any time of the year, but especially around the month of October. Enjoy
